When I first read about Puregreen24 in the New York Times, it caught my attention.

What is the difference between a Disinfectant and a Sanitizer?
Most people don’t understand the difference between a disinfectant and a sanitizer. The perception with many people is that they are equally effective. This is not the case.
Sanitizers only kill a percentage of viruses and bacteria (99.99 percent often advertised, under ideal conditions). A disinfectant, on the other hand, kills 100 percent. Sanitizers are therefore only effective at reducing the number of organisms present on a surface, leaving the remaining organisms to quickly reproduce after the sanitizer’s application.
Even worse, organisms that remain after the application of a sanitizer may become resistant to future sanitizing treatments, which can reduce the effectiveness of a sanitizer after repeated applications.
